Bury St. Edmunds Ecumenical Centre Trust (BECT) is a registered charity (1099687) and was set up specifically to support The Centre as a local education, wellbeing, and community centre. It leases the building from St John’s School Centre Trust and is governed by appointed Trustees.

The Charity aims to improve the health and well-being of everyone in the community and encourage them to take part in a range of activities, services and facilities within The Centre, as well as preserve the building as a community venue.
